About Stellarian
After over a decade in research, our founder chose to begin again, this time as a developer, a designer, and a bridge between science and technology.
Stellarian was born from two passions combined. It is how I connect my personal and professional interests to create meaningful tools, and to collaborate with professionals and scientists to help them thrive in their own projects.
The Founder
I am a naturally curious person. When something captures my interest, I dive into it wholeheartedly. That’s what guided my career choices: my fascination with dolphins first led me to veterinary school; then, I fell in love with reproductive physiology, which shaped my path through a Master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral research.
Yet long before academia, I was already drawn to technology. Since I was 16, tech has been my favorite hobby—one that I eventually decided to turn into a profession. In 2022 I made a career switch and started diving into the Computer Science Universe, following intensive trainings both online and in person.
Today, I fully embrace the fact that I want to learn about everything. Meaningful projects give my curiosity a sense of direction, allowing me to focus my energy, expand my skills, and create purposeful work.
Professional Experience
I have over a decade of academic research experience (MSc in Comparative Animal Physiology, PhD in Animal Biology). I specialized in fertility preservation research and have written and led projects, coordinated collaborations, trained students, written, published and reviewed projects and manuscripts, and co-written grant applications across international institutions.
I've started my training in Computer Science in 2022. My experience in fullstack development is continuously growing, and I am currently building web applications using Python, Django/Wagtail, PostgreSQL, and modern web technologies.
At Stellarian, I’ve found the ideal space to blend my scientific background with my passion for technology and my commitment to continuous learning.
